Marfa Maliutina
My art is an appeal to personal recollections, experiences, and observations. I do not attach specific interpretations to my works. Instead, I aim to portray the natural essence of the moment.
"Мое творчество — это обращение к личным воспоминаниям, памяти и насмотренности. Я не закрепляю определенных трактовок за своими работами. Мне важнее показать естественное бытие момента."
THAILAND
The series "Thailand" captures the moments of living and immersing myself in the culture of a new country. The paintings depict scenes and characters I encountered during my year-long journey. For me,
Thailand is lush greenery, the contrast of vibrant colors and tranquility, the play of light and shadow, the alternating heat and rain, and the incredible architecture of temples, as well as the warm attitude
of people. That is how this place feels to me.

In the south of the country, in Pattaya and Bangkok, I witnessed
a bustling and vibrant life. In the village of Bang Saray - hardworking people, happiness in simplicity and openness. In Phuket and its
surroundings, I was inspired by the rockiness of hills and cliffs and the captivating marine world. In Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in the north, I immersed myself in a rich atmosphere, filled with cultural
landmarks and incredible nature. I am drawn to landscape subjects, dreamlike and romantic situations, still lifes of local objects and flora,
sketches of nature, and various cultural elements. I wanted to bring
all these diverse elements together in a structural way in my works.

"Wherever I am, I am always in search of new subjects and stories."
